My name is Lauren and I am a HUGE Tampa Bay Lightning hockey fan. I was born & raised in the Tampa Bay Area. I have been a sports fan my whole life & became a HUGE Tampa Bay Lightning fan during the Stanley Cup run of 2004. I also love to write and recently graduated from the Journalism & Media Studies program at the University of South Florida's St. Petersburg campus. I currently work as a high school sports correspondent for the St. Petersburg Times.Someday I would like to work for the Tampa Bay Lightning as part of the communications department or become an announcer for the Lightning team. My favorite Lightning players are Martin St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier. I recently took a trip to Toronto to watch the Lightning play the Toronto Maple Leafs and visit the Hockey Hall of Fame.
